Along with the superficially light hearted glamour we (as a society) have drenched ourselves in, the reality in which we live in, finds itself fading into the shadows of neglect. It leads me to ask “just how much more will it take until the self-inflicted fall of modern civilisation?” Although, in the moment, day to day pettiness has its peculiar way to erratically plague us, perhaps it is now the appropriate time we found value in an other-centred perspective, because the reality we have learned to ignore is rapidly growing more deviant by the day.
