This performance is part of the Vancouver Biennale BIG IDEAS 2012 Performance Series. Grade 2/3 students from Henry Hudson School to perform a musical dance, inspired by Michel Goulet’s installation at Kitsilano Beach. The piece is a reveal of the ordinary as extraordinary: a grouping of chairs, sand, mountains, a stroll the beach…. With the assistance of Holly Artzen, Kevin Wright, 21 students have created a musical performance to send the message of how even the smallest things in the natural world are valuable and extraordinary. Performed on Monday, April 30 at the Biennale sculpture site, Echoes at Kitsilano Beach.
