CineFest LIVE: PIONEERS IN CINEMA Film Series

Mondays at dusk - July 30 to Sept 3 - Leg-In-Boot Square

CineFest LIVE 2018-2020 Announces Pioneers in Cinema Film Series

In an ever-changing city of glass and concrete, Maskull Lasserre’s installation is remembrance of raw and laborious man-made tools and reminds us of the city’s rapidly evolving urbanization.

Throughout the summer, Leg-In-Boot Square will host a series of classic black-and-white films of the industrial era alongside this installation in collaboration with the Biennale’s film program, CineFest LIVE. These celebrated films will be showcased in juxtaposition with contemporary documentaries about these pioneers to take us back in time to understand how both told and untold stories have influenced the construction of our current identities.

All outdoor film screenings are free of admission and start at 8:30PM (dusk).

See below for schedule.
