Join the VANCOUVER BIENNALE in celebrating the unveiling of the work of Biennale Artist in Residence Tammam Azzam (Syria), Rathin Barman (India), Jonathan Luckhurst (Canada) and Kristin McIver (Australia) in Squamish. Come learn about the artists’ projects, and find how these young international artists have chosen to make various public art interventions in the community.
Witness how these four Residency Artists have re-interpret Squamish through photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Their resulting projects will contribute towards a treasury of world class art created specifically to provoke interest and cross-cultural dialogue while reflecting upon the 2014-2016 Vancouver Biennale’s theme: Open Borders / Crossroads.
