David Suzuki
Dr. David Takayoshi Suzuki is famous throughout the world for his dedication to environmental activism. He is best known as the host of the popular and long-running CBC television show, The Nature of Things. Dr. Suzuki has won many honours and awards that include: 20 honourary doctorates, the coveted Order of Canada (1976), the Order of British Columbia (1995) and the UNESCO’s Kalinga Prize for science (1986).
