Jaymie Johnson is an interdisciplinary artist and educator invested in social and environmental impact through observation, experimentation and collaboration. She uses natural and recycled materials to create site-specific works with community participation. Since graduating with a BFA in Visual Arts from Emily Carr University in 2015, she has worked on numerous public and environmental art projects through involvement with and support from the EartHand Gleaners Society, Border Free Bees, the chART Collective, ArtStarts, Vancity, Science World, First Capital Realty, Emily Carr University, and the Vancouver School Board.
