Today is Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and we are

Today is Canadian Multiculturalism Day, and we are recognizing and celebrating the diversity of cultures, voices, histories and experiences that shape our communities and our country. One year ago today, in PARADISE HAS MANY GATES, we came together for the unveiling of a giant collaborative weaving as part of our THREADS THROUGH TIME project. It brought together master weavers from Islamic traditions and the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh nations, and together these artists showed how weaving can become a vehicle of collaboration & cultural exchange.
