Join the VANCOUVER BIENNALE Residency artist Jenna Tenn-Yuk in an evening performance culminating the series of creative and hands-on spoken word poetry workshops and community dialogue she has hosted over the past month exploring the complexities of identity, spirituality and sexuality. The purpose of the workshops was to provide spaces for conversations and understanding, as well as build bridges between seemingly dissimilar groups through spoken word. Aiming to eliminate the lack of dialogue, judgment and hurt between LGBTQ, Christian and feminist communities, the workshops have allowed individuals to share their stories, which help us to grow, learn and understand the world around us.
