Arts & Culture Creative District End of Summer Party

September 28 at Vancouver Biennale

4 pm

Two major pillars of the Vancouver Art Community, The Vancouver Biennale and The Beaumont Studios will join forces to create an end of summer bash in conjunction with BC Culture Days. A collaborative and celebratory end of summer party that will bring together the diverse creative groups, artist collectives, breweries and small businesses that make up the Arts and Culture Creative District.

The event is set to kick off at the Vancouver Biennale headquarters at 4 pm and will end in the evening at The Beaumont Studios. Each venue will host unique and engaging art experiences, studio tours, music, and an interactive puzzle scavenger hunt. This is a free event open to the community.

All fun aside, the main incentive for these groups to come together, is to highlight the many businesses that are at risk of being displaced or facing closure, due to the ongoing issues from high property taxes and the rapid disappearance of available, sustainable and affordable spaces throughout the lower mainland.

THE ARTS & CULTURE CREATIVE DISTRICT – is a 5 block radius that is home to 200 + creative businesses, ranging from graphic designers, architects, artists, filmmakers, craft breweries, animation studios, and interior designers.

We hope to see you there!
