For her 2014 Vancouver Biennale Residency, Tenn-Yuk led a number of creative, hands-on, spoken-word poetry workshops, culminating in a public event and dialogue, opening the borders between and bringing together voices from Christian, LGBTQ, and feminist communities. Using spoken word as a vehicle for social action and empowerment, she led workshops that acted as safe, open spaces for discussions about the issues and complexities amongst these groups.
