Bio

Toni Latour participated as a group coordinator in the 2014 Residency Program.

 

Toni, a multidisciplinary artist feminist based in Vancouver, works in new media installation, text-based practices, drawing, public art, and performance art.

Since 1994, she has exhibited her work nationally and internationally in both solo and group shows. She has been a participating artist in two Vancouver Biennale exhibitions: Homage to Parenthood was installed for the 2009 – 2011 Vancouver Biennale, and Let’s Heal The Divide was featured in the 2014 – 2016 Vancouver Biennale.

 

For 11 years Toni taught Media Art and Drawing at Capilano University in North Vancouver. She currently teaches at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford and Mission, British Columbia.
