I was inspired by the layout and the name of the piece History of Loss. I tried to use something I could repeatedly use to represent “loss”. I chose eggs because it shows the short life of the unborn chicks and the “loss” of their lives. I also chose to use eggs because of the different crack patterns it makes every time.
The materials used are egg shells and cardboard.
