Workshop
Are you interested in finding out what 8,600+ students (K to Gr 12) from 120 schools and eleven school districts have learned through the Vancouver Biennale BIG IDEAS in-School Education Program since 2010? Contact us to schedule an interactive professional development workshop that can be customized to your school’s specific needs.
Experience the Vancouver Biennale BIG IDEAS project-based learning process through hands-on inquiry-based activities. The workshop participants will be guided through ways to connect inquiry around art to curricula across subject areas. The Biennale facilitators will make references to past Vancouver Biennale BIG IDEAS school projects and suggest different approaches participants can engage students in art-integrated cross-curricular inquiries and make links to the new curriculum. If time permits, workshop participants may explore how to use BIG IDEAS Digital learning resources in the classroom.
