BIG IDEAS in Self-Regulation

Awarded with the Vancouver Biennale BIG IDEAS artist collaborator grant in 2012, K to Grade 6/7 students of Henry Hudson Elementary School and Grade 10 of Kitsilano Secondary participated in the Vancouver Biennale BIG IDEAS 2013 Arts in Action Education Program. Drawing inspirations and ideas from the Vancouver Biennale A-Maze-ing Laughter at Morton Park in the West End of Vancouver, students shared, reflected and responded to the BIG IDEA of Mindful Expression. The learning process is to guide the students to reflect on: “How can we mindfully express our feelings and ideas?  How our verbal and non-verbal expressions impact on others? How to raise awareness of personal roles and responsibilities?”
