This piece is inspired by the Vancouver Biennale Exhibition in 2009-2011: WE, 2008 (Jaume Plensa, Spain). My inspiration for this piece of art was my grandfather and the first group of Sikhs to come to Canada. My Collage consists of the journey of my grandfather from Pakistan to Canada. My grandfather was a merchant navy engineer and his job was carried down to my Aunts and Uncles, thus becoming a very important part of our families history.
