Student Art Creations

Students were challenged to use public art as a stimulus for artistic response and cross-curricular learning. The inspired artworks explored current topics such as homelessness, cultural identity, science and technology, societal norms and the environment. 350 student BIG IDEAS artworks were selected from over 2,500 creations from 24 secondary and elementary schools of six school districts to showcase in a series of eight gallery exhibits. Selected exhibition art pieces are available to view at this online gallery and some of these inspiring art creations are paired with the online BIG IDEAS curriculum plans.
